Small Gingerbread House
In this lesson, you’ll be making a little gingerbread house tealight. With a base of glowing amber glass you will decorate and add detail with frit, stringers and other glass elements. Perfect to hang in your Christmas window display.
Make 3 Christmas Decorations
Make three cute Christmas tree decorations. Choose from Snowman, Santa, Robin, Penguin, or Christmas trees. These are wonderful as Christmas gifts and can be used every year to decorate your tree.
Make a Christmas Wreath
Make your own fragrant wreath this Christmas. Use a range of freshly picked greenery to construct and decorate a wreath to spruce up your front door or even inside your home. You can make it sparkle and bling or choose from the range of natural materials provided. No prior experience is needed.
Make Christmas themed Cold Process Soap
Discover the secrets of soap. Learn the science behind soapmaking and make your own Christmas-themed batch to take home. Fragranced with essential oils and decorated with botanicals, this soap is so different from shop-bought soap and will make a huge difference to your skin. We’ll use a range of expensive and high-quality oils to ensure your bar is moisturising and gentle.
Make Christmas themed Melt and Pour Soap
This method uses a premade soap base to make very creative soaps without the need to handle Sodium Hydroxide as we do in Cold Process soap. This can be a fantastic way to concentrate on the look and design of your soap. We’ll teach you all about colouring, fragrancing, adding botanicals and glitter. We’ll also show you some advanced techniques such as using embeds and layering different colours Perfect for Christmas.
Make a Christmas Bath and Body Hamper
The ultimate in pampering. Learn to make your own pampering products and make your skincare bespoke. In this class you’ll make 3 from the following; a healing salve, glycerin soap, salt or sugar scrub, lip balm or a whipped body butter. You’ll learn all about fragrances and how to use them and the properties of the ingredients you choose to use on your skin. You’ll learn about packaging your lovely items up too.
One Day Classes £125
These classes run from 10am to 4 pm. Morning refreshments and a light lunch are included
Make a Glass Christmas village
The biggest glass project we’ve offered so far! In this class, you’ll make a delightful glass gingerbread house. You’ll make the large gingerbread house, a standing tree and one of our cute little characters. Choose from snowman, winter gnome or penguin.
All our workshops are carried out in a Covid secure way. Despite the lifting of restrictions, we are keeping the 1m+ social distancing which means we only have space for 4 people in each class. All tools and surfaces are cleaned thoroughly before you arrive and plenty of hand sanitiser and soap are available. If you’d like to book a private class for yourself and one or more friends, we can arrange that for you. Ventilation is good in the workshop and masks are not required but you may of course wear one if you wish. We have a strict Covid testing program which means I test myself before each class to ensure you are totally safe.
